Works Undertaken - OBR Construction was responsible for the basement, groundworks, and delivery of two reinforced concrete frames on this project. Two tower cranes supported our operations, with one passed to the client after completion of our scope. The development includes two new-build blocks rising 10 and 12 storeys, providing one, two, and three bedroom apartments, as well as two commercial units at ground level.

They managed their works professionally especially where logistics was a challenge working around in a live College environment. • OBR managed commercial aspects in an ordered, non-confrontational and professional manner. • OBR took a very proactive approach in resolving any site or design issues. • OBR very self-contained in that they do not require a great deal of supervision from main contractor to ensure works proceed safely and to programme. • OBR works well with the main contractor to ensure minimal disruption to the day-to-day activities of the college on a busy campus location. • OBR ensure quality of works as the progress resulting in very few snagging issues which were dealt with very promptly when raised. I would certainly engage with OBR on future projects.
