"OBR – A credible subcontractor that won’t let you down who are performance and quality driven to achieve your programme delivery in a professional manner. Early engagement adds costs certainty with practical buildability advise and provides direction for engineers to design the structure that is economical and functional to build in a timescale that deliveries to programme milestones. OBR have completed numerous contracts for me over the years and were best placed to undertake the in-situ frame with transfer slab for the new Clayton Hotel in Manchester which included all substructure and basement work. H&S is key to any project success, OBR excel themselves with a zero tolerance towards poor H&S behaviour, site attitude and housekeeping therefore with OBR on your site you appreciate that that you`re in safe hands. OBR have always impressed me with their work ethics and managerial approach to go the extra mile to deliver a success project that is not only built to a high standard of finish, but is built to costs plan and agreed programme."

"OBR formed the core, Ground Floor transfer slab and other ancillary concrete works on a fifteen storey office project in Coventry City centre between 2021 and 2022. OBR executed the works all to a very tight programme and were found to be very proactive and have a good eye for quality and detailing on the Project. OBR were extremely user friendly and I could not recommend them more highly."

"Bouygues UK engaged OBR Group for the construction of the RC Frame on the iconic Castle Park View Development situated in the centre of Bristol. The 26 storey tower along with 4 other lower level blocks has become the tallest building to be constructed in Bristol having surpassed the historic Saint Mary Redcliffe constructed over 500 years ago.
The works were carried out between October 2019 and December 2020. OBR’s team were dynamic in their approach preferring to slip form each of the 4 cores, the tower core was successfully slipped in 7 weeks and quickly became a new landmark on Bristol’s skyline. OBR supported the Bouygues delivery team and working well together allowed the works to be completed to a good quality and ahead of programme despite the impacts and closures associated with Covid-19. I would have no hesitation in working with OBR again in the future."
Tony Rides, Project Director
"OBR performed exceptionally on what was a programme driven project with significant logistical challenges.
Personally, I found that OBR’s experience excelled and helped us navigate through what was at times an intensely difficult and challenging scheme, achieving all milestone dates throughout the project.
I would have no reservations in terms of recommending OBR and will seek to utilise them again on future RC projects."
James Minehan, Senior Project Manager
"OBR have delivered the superstructure works on Coventry VITA to a very high standard, whilst ensuring a key eye for H&S management, quality control and overall client satisfaction.
Their drive and determination to deliver the scheme on time will I’m sure contribute to the overall project success."

"OBR’s approach to completing the sub/superstructure scope on my project was consistent – safety, program, achievable task deliverables & quality. From the outset of the project the level of commitment and real project engagement was demonstrable. Experience is key to RC frame project success and OBR certainly proved their worth in that regard.
What I found with OBR is that you get a subcontractor proud and confident in their ability & skill but also willing to come to the table when issues arise such a value engineering requirements and other project challenges.
Quality was unsurpassed and at closeout stage the result was a project built to specification, on time and on budget."

"Whilst working with OBR on our first scheme together at Plot E2, Media City I have been impressed from a commercial perspective throughout the procurement, construction and post contract stages of the scheme and would not hesitate to continue our relationship onto new schemes."

"OBR have been working on the Runcorn Thermal Power Station as direct Reinforced Concrete works subcontractor to John Sisk & Son Ltd since August 2010. The contract value for OBR was in the order of £10 million over two phases, on which OBR provided the concrete and plant for their works. Phase 1 which is approximately £7.5m is substantially complete and Phase 2 is currently 50% complete and will be completed later this year.
The scope of works included complex substructure and superstructure elements including the Waste Bunker which is approximately 80m long, 20m wide and with certain walls approaching 50m in height. The execution of works involved significant temporary works design which OBR managed diligently.
To date OBR have delivered on Safety, Quality and Schedule on what we would regard as a very challenging project from a technical nature. The personal commitment of their Senior Management was a significant factor in their overall success. One significant factor in selecting OBR for a major scheme like Runcorn TPS was their capacity to deliver. OBR have executed projects for Sisk since 2000 and I have had personal experience on a number of projects dating back to that time.
I would consider OBR for any Reinforced Concrete Works in the future and I would have no hesitation in recommending them."
