OBR Developments have successfully completed and handed over 72 dwelling units for Cork CityCouncil at White Cross, Cork.
The development consisted of 72 No. dwelling units in 6 No. three-storey blocks comprising: 28 No.one-storey 1-bedroom apartments, 8 No. one-storey 2-bedroom apartments, 28 No. two-storey 2-bedroom duplex units, 8 No. two-storey 3-bedroom duplex units.

OBR Developments are currently onsite constructing 149nr Cost rental units for Respond Housing Association at Jacobs Island, Mahon, Cork.
The project consists of 149nr apartments -56nr one bed and 93nr two bed – spilt over three blocks aging in height from 5 to 7 storeys with a 5,500 sq metre basement car-park including 154nr car-parking spaces and ancillary plan space.

OBR Construction Limited have secured the groundworks and RC frames to 4 blocks for our valued Client C-Field Construction.
The work consists of all foul and surface water drainage and temporary works to the surrounding buildings and install of 4 large attenuation tanks followed by the ground floor slabs and RC Frames. The site of a former Mecca Bingo building in Wood Green will provide 623student bedrooms and 77 affordable homes over four buildings rising to nine storeys. Associated amenity spaces, at the Lordship Lane project will include private and social study areas, an on-site library and gym, as well as a podcast and recording studio.
The development will also provide 77 affordable homes, which includes 25 shared ownership apartments, 45 social rent apartments and 7 social rent 5-bed townhouses.

OBR Construction carried out the groundworks and 3 storey RC Frame including supply of the tower carne for Clegg Construction at Peterborough College. OBR carried out their works safely ahead of programme, on budget and to a high standard of quality. They managed their works professionally especially where logistics was a challenge working around in a live College environment. • OBR managed commercial aspects in an ordered, non-confrontational and professional manner. • OBR took a very proactive approach in resolving any site or design issues. • OBR very self-contained in that they do not require a great deal of supervision from main contractor to ensure works proceed safely and to programme. • OBR works well with the main contractor to ensure minimal disruption to the day-to-day activities of the college on a busy campus location. • OBR ensure quality of works as the progress resulting in very few snagging issues which were dealt with very promptly when raised. I would certainly engage with OBR on future projects.
